Currency rates at the start of Wednesday trading
The foreign exchange rates witnessed stability at the start of Wednesday 3 June 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:
US Dollar
The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 51.7963 for buying and EGP 51.7963 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was recorded at ADIB at EGP 52.10 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was recorded at FAB at EGP 51.82 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
Euro
The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 60.3116 for buying and EGP 60.4849 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at ADIB at EGP 60.59 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at FAB at EGP 60.38 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
British Pound
The British pound also recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 69.7592 for buying and EGP 69.9633 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at ADIB at EGP 70.06 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at FAB and CIB at EGP 69.86 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
Saudi Riyal
The Saudi riyal recorded a slight decrease by the close of yesterday's trading, reaching EGP 13.8009 for buying and EGP 13.8390 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at ADIB at EGP 13.88 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at FAB at EGP 13.81 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar recorded a decrease by the close of yesterday's trading in Egypt, reaching EGP 168.8000 for buying and EGP 169.3112 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at HSBC at EGP 168.97 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at FAB at EGP 167.58 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
UAE Dirham
