Currency rates at the start of Thursday trading
The foreign exchange rates witnessed stability at the start of Thursday 11 June 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:
US Dollar
The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 51.7766 for buying and EGP 51.8766 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was recorded at «BANK NXT» and Suez Canal Bank at EGP 51.82 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 51.77 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
Euro
The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 59.7864 for buying and EGP 59.9071 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at Suez Canal Bank at EGP 59.77 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 59.82 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
British Pound
The British pound recorded a slight increase against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 69.3185 for buying and EGP 69.4731 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at Suez Canal Bank at EGP 69.28 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 69.33 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
Saudi Riyal
The Saudi riyal witnessed stability by the close of yesterday's trading, reaching EGP 13.7927 for buying and EGP 13.8204 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.80 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 13.81 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
Kuwaiti Dinar
The Kuwaiti dinar recorded an increase by the close of yesterday's trading in Egypt, reaching EGP 168.4887 for buying and EGP 168.8690 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at «HSBC» at EGP 168.62 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at «FAB» at EGP 167.59 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
UAE Dirham
The UAE dirham witnessed an increase by the close of yesterday's trading in Egypt, reaching EGP 14.0973 for buying and EGP 14.1253 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 14.10 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
