Currency rates at the start of Tuesday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed stability at the start of Tuesday 16 June 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:

US Dollar

The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 50.3394 for buying and EGP 50.4394 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «ADIB» at EGP 51.09 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 50.37 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Euro

The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 58.4488 for buying and EGP 58.5743 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 59.15 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 58.54 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

British Pound

The British pound also decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 67.5602 for buying and EGP 67.7138 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 68.51 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 68.91 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Saudi Riyal

The Saudi riyal recorded a decrease by the close of trading yesterday, reaching EGP 13.4148 for buying and EGP 13.4420 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.61 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «FAB»  at EGP 13.42 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded an decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 163.9711 for buying and EGP 164.3486 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «saib» at EGP 164.06 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «FAB» at EGP 163.47 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

UAE Dirham

The UAE dirham recorded a decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 13.7056 for buying and EGP 13.7334 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.91 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 13.71 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
