Egyptian Pound Index rose to 37.450 Points Against Major Currencies at the Close of tuesday, June 16 Trading

The Egyptian Pound Index increased against major currencies at the close of trading on tuesday, June 16, with the index increased to 37.450 points, compared to 37.315 points at the end of monday’s session.

The rise was driven by the Egyptian pound’s increase against the U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, and Chinese yuan, the Japanese yen at the close of trading.

The average selling price of the U.S. dollar decreased from EGP 50.44 to EGP 50.27 by the end of the day, while the average buying price fell from EGP 50.34 to EGP 50.17.

The average selling price of the euro edged down from EGP 58.57 to EGP 58.32, while the average buying price fell from EGP 58.45 to EGP 58.2.

The average selling price of the British pound decreased from EGP 67.71 to EGP 67.45, while the average buying price fell from EGP 67.56 to EGP 67.3.

Meanwhile, the average selling price of the UAE dirham fell from EGP 13.73 to EGP 13.69, while the average buying price decreased from EGP 13.71 to EGP 13.66.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from EGP 13.44 to EGP 13.40, while the average buying price fell from EGP 13.42 to EGP 13.37.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan decreased from EGP 7.47 to EGP 7.44, while the average buying price fell from EGP 7.45 to EGP 7.43 at the close of trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen decreased from EGP 31.49 to 31.35, while the average buying price fell from EGP 31.43 to EGP 31.28 by the end of the day.
