The foreign exchange rates witnessed decreases at the close of Wednesday 17 June 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:
US Dollar
The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound today, reaching EGP 49.86 for buying and EGP 49.96 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
The highest buying price was recorded at «ADIB» at EGP 50.18 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 49.90 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
Euro
The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound today, reaching EGP 57.77 for buying and EGP 57.8986 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.
The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 58.25 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 57.96 at the close of Egyptian bank trading today.
British Pound
The British pound recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound today, reaching EGP 66.8074 for buying and EGP 66.9614 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.
