Currency rates at the start of Monday trading

The foreign exchange rates witnessed stability at the start of Monday 22 June 2026 trading at Egyptian banks. First Bank monitors currency rates in Egyptian banks through the following report:

US Dollar

The average price of the US dollar recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 49.82 for buying and EGP 49.92 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was recorded at «ADIB» at EGP 49.96 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 49.82 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Euro

The euro recorded a decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 57.12 for buying and EGP 57.25 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank.

The highest buying price was at «EALB» at EGP 57.08 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 57.19 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

British Pound

The British pound also decrease against the Egyptian pound yesterday, reaching EGP 65.92 for buying and EGP 66.07 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «EALB» at EGP 65.83 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 65.96 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Saudi Riyal

The Saudi riyal recorded a decrease by the close of trading yesterday, reaching EGP 13.27 for buying and EGP 13.30 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.31 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «Faisal»  at EGP 13.29 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

Kuwaiti Dinar

The Kuwaiti dinar recorded an decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 161.95 for buying and EGP 162.33 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «SAIB» at EGP 162.58 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was at «FAB» at EGP 162.22 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

UAE Dirham

The UAE dirham recorded a decrease by the close of trading in Egypt yesterday, reaching EGP 16.56 for buying and EGP 13..59 for selling, according to the latest data from the Central Bank of Egypt.

The highest buying price was at «ADIB» at EGP 13.60 at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.

The lowest selling price was recorded at «Emirates NBD» at EGP 13.57at the start of Egyptian bank trading today.
