Egyptian Pound Index rose to 37.929 Points Against Major Currencies at the Close of monday, June 22 Trading

The Egyptian Pound Index increased against major currencies at the close of trading on monday, June 22, with the index increased to 37.929 points, compared to 37.864 points at the end of sunday’s session.

The rise was driven by the Egyptian pound’s increase against the U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, and Chinese yuan, the Japanese yen at the close of trading.

The average selling price of the U.S. dollar decreased from EGP 49.92 to EGP 49.86 by the end of the day, while the average buying price fell from EGP 49.82 to EGP 49.76.

The average selling price of the euro edged down from EGP 57.25 to EGP 57.09, while the average buying price fell from EGP 57.13 to EGP 56.96.

The average selling price of the British pound decreased from EGP 66.07 to EGP 66.01, while the average buying price fell from EGP 65.92 to EGP 65.86.

Meanwhile, the average selling price of the UAE dirham fell from EGP 13.59 to EGP 13.58, while the average buying price decreased from EGP 13.56 to EGP 13.55.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from EGP 13.30 to EGP 13.28, while the average buying price fell from EGP 13.27 to EGP 13.25.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan decreased from EGP 7.38 to EGP 7.36, while the average buying price fell from EGP 7.36 to EGP 7.35 at the close of trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen decreased from EGP 30.95 to 30.82, while the average buying price fell from EGP 30.88 to EGP 30.76 by the end of the day.
