Performance of Banking Stocks Listed on the Egyptian Exchange at the Close of July 2026

The First Bank report tracking the performance of banking stocks listed on the Egyptian Exchange, covering 12 listed banks, showed that Commercial International Bank delivered the strongest performance during July 2026, with its share price rising 10.6% to close at 141.00 EGP at the end of the month, followed by Export Development Bank of Egypt in second place after its stock gained 9.8%, closing at 20.00 EGP over the same period.
ADIB Egypt came in third, with its share price advancing 9.0% to close at 52.85 EGP at the end of July. It was followed by Egyptian Gulf Bank «EG Bank» in fourth place, posting a 7.0% increase to close at 0.477 USD.
QNB Egypt ranked fifth after its stock climbed 6.8% to close at 55.29 EGP by the end of July 2026. Suez Canal Bank and Al Baraka Bank Egypt followed in sixth and seventh places, with gains of 5.3% and 4.3%, respectively, closing at 37.57 EGP and 35.69 EGP.
The United Bank ranked eighth after its share price increased 2.0% to close at GP 13.56 EGP at the end of July 2026. Crédit Agricole Egypt came ninth with a 0.5% gain, closing at EP 23.77 EGP.
Meanwhile, saib remained unchanged at 2.11 USD. Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (EGP-denominated shares) declined 1.1% to close at 36.55 EGP, while Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (USD-denominated shares) fell 1.8%, ending the month at 0.966 USD.
Housing & Development Bank ranked twelfth after recording the largest decline among listed banking stocks, with its share price falling 47.8% to close at 83.00 EGP at the end of July 2026.
