Ahli United Bank Tops Banks In Terms Of Loans to Deposits, By 75.82%

Ahli United Bank topped the First Bank list of banks with the highest Loans to Deposits Ratio during the first 9 months of 2022 at a rate of 75.82%.

 loans portfolio at Al-Ahly United jumped by 30.39%, to record 50.53 billion pounds at the end of the third quarter of 2022, compared to 38.75 billion pounds at the end of 2021, an increase of 11.78 billion pounds.

Deposit portfolio at Ahli United Bank increased to 66.64 billion pounds at the end of September 2022, compared to 53.54 billion pounds at the end of 2021, achieving a growth rate of 24.48%, and an increase of 13.105 billion pounds.

AUB-Egypt invested its money in loans at large rates, as it reached 91.93% by the end of the first quarter of 2022.

The bank’s pre-taxes profits jumped to 1.78 billion pounds during the first 9 months of 2022, compared to 1.10 billion pounds during the same period in 2021, achieving a growth rate of 61.68%, and an increase of 679.436 million pounds.

Net interest income increased by 38.83%, to reach 2.102 billion pounds during the first 9 months of last year, compared to 2.10 billion pounds during the same period of 2021, an increase of 588.12 million pounds.

Net income from fees and commissions rose to 330.5 million pounds during the first 9 months of 2022, compared to 238.06 million pounds during the same period in 2021, achieving a growth rate of 38.83%, and an increase of 92.43 million pounds.
