Led by Dante Campione, CEO and Managing Director of Alex bank, the bank began a new era of development thanks to the innovative products such as Mahfazati application, Internet banking, mobile banking, and Fawry service, in addition to developing the technological infrastructure of the bank.
Campione continued significantly to use the Bank's funds to grant loans, despite the decline over the past 7 years, it remains the primary investment tendency for the Bank.
The bank's assets relative weight share reached 43.06% at the end of the third quarter of 2022, compared to 52.18% at the end of 2015.
financial investment declined marginally, to record 25.45% of the bank's total assets by the end of September 2022, compared to 26.11% by the end of 2021.
Loans to deposits ratio declined significantly, and reached 55.51%.
Financial investment to deposits ratio also declined to 30.90% at the end of September 2022, compared to 33.03% at the end of 2015.
The bank’s loans portfolio recorded EGP 57.5 bn at the end of last September, compared to EGP 27.03 bn at the end of 2015, achieving a growth rate of 112.72%, and an increase of EGP30.47 bn.
Corporates portfolio increased to EGP 29.67 bn by the end of the third quarter of 2022, compared to EGP 13.91 bn at the end of 2015, achieving a growth rate of 113.28%. And an increase of EGP15.76 bn.
Individual loans portfolio increased by 125.85%, to reach EGP27.82 bn at the end of September 2022, compared to EGP 12.32 bn at the end of 2015, an increase of EGP15.50 bn.
Deposit portfolio, reached EGP103.57 bn at the end of the third quarter of 2022, compared to EGP 37.57 bn at the end of 2015, achieving a growth rate of 175.72%, and an increase of EGP 66.01 bn.
Assets portfolio jumped by 164.63%, reaching EGP 125.75 bn at the end of last September, compared to EGP47.52 bn at the end of 2015, achieving a growth rate of 164.63%, an increase of EGP 78.23 bn.
The bank's financial investments and T-bills, jumped to EGP32 bn at the end of the third quarter of 2022, compared to EGP12.41 bn at the end of 2015, achieving a growth rate of 157.92%, and an increase of 19.6%.
The bank’s net profit Since Campione took over, jumped by 97.78%, to record EGP 2.75 bn in 2021, compared to EGP 1.39 bn in 2015, an increase of EGP 1.36 bn.
As for the bank's net profit during the past year, it increased by 0.9%, to record EGP2.07 bn during the first 9 months of 2022, compared to EGP2.05 bn during the same period in 2021.
