Agricultural Bank of Egypt Supports 21 Hospitals To Provide Better Health Care
Agricultural Bank of Egypt supported 21 hospitals, provide better health care in 14 governorates, and serve thousands of villages, out of keenness to support the state's efforts to provide health services to citizens.
Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Agricultural Bank, distributed the contributions at a ceremony held by the bank at its main office in Dokki.
In presence of Major General Hisham Al-Hosari, Chairman of parliament's Agriculture and Irrigation Committee,
Dr. Muhammad Abu-Zaid Al-Amir, Vice President of Al-Azhar University and Chairman of the Bank’s Sharia Supervisory Board(SSB), Sami Abdel-Sadiq, Vice-Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors, and a large number of the bank’s leaders and representatives of government hospitals in Cairo and the governorates.
Alaa Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Agricultural Bank of Egypt, said that the interest in supporting health care for citizens comes within the policies and priorities of the bank in the field of social responsibility and its contribution to achieving Egypt's vision 2030, which contributes to the growth of the national economy and providing a decent life for Egyptian citizens.
Farouk referred to the complementary role pursued by the bank through concerted efforts between them and the government sector, the private sector, civil society, and charitable organizations with regard to community service and development, as well as common visions to deal with the youth file and empower women.
Farouk explained that the Bank continues to provide help, especially to the most needy families and the villages of a decent life initiative, as well as contributing to supporting youth who are about to get married, contributing to paying finer debts, rewarding families of martyrs, and contributing to providing food for the low-income.
Also Hisham Al-Hosari praised the contributions made by the Agricultural Bank in the field of social responsibility, wishing that all institutions would follow the bank in its various initiatives to support the Egyptian citizen and farmer.
