CBE: 9 banks licensed to provide EPOS

The Central Bank of Egypt revealed, in a recent report, that9 banks have been licensed to provide point-of-sale (POS) services.
CBE revealed the names of those banks; National Bank of Egypt -NBE, Banque Misr -BM, Bank of Alexandria -BOA, Bank du Caire -BDC, Commercial International Bank -CIB, Qatar National Bank QNB, and the Arab Bank African International Bank -AAIB, Agricultural Bank of Egypt -ABE, and ABC Bank
Electronic points of sale are devices dedicated to accepting electronic payment transactions that accept payments from their customers who hold electronic payment tools, for the goods or services provided by them, as an alternative to cash payment.
A receipt is issued with the details of the transaction, whether paper or electronic, to the customer, POS devices have evolved over time, and there are different types of POS devices such as:
- Android POS.
- mini POS.
- Electronic points of sale through various devices (mobile phone - tablet - ...) soft POS.
-Traditional POS.
