EGP index fell against a basket of major currencies to 53.575 points on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Wednesday 14 June 2023, The index reached 53.575 points, compared to 53.622 points on Yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It fell against the Euro, pound sterling, it rose against the Japanese Yen, Saudi riyal and settled against the UAE dirham, US dollar, Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP33.40 to EGP 33.44, while the average buying increased from EGP33.28 to EGP 33.32 at the end of today's trading

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP38.88 to EGP 39.13, while the average buying rose from EGP38.76 to EGP 38.99 at the end of today's trading.  

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.32, while the average buying fell from EGP4.31 to EGP 4.30 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 22.17to EGP 22.10 while the buying price fell from EGP 22.09 to EGP 22.02.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt fell from EGP8.25 to EGP 8.24 while the buying price settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 and EGP 30.84 for buying at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
