President El Sisi approves a loan agreement between Egypt and Japan worth 41 billion Japanese yen

President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi issued Decree No. 62 of 2023, approving the exchange of letters between the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the government of Japan regarding the loan provided by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) worth 41 billion Japanese yen.
This comes to implement the first phase of the fourth line of the Greater Cairo Metro, known as "Phase 2," which is located in Cairo and was signed on December 26, 2022. The decree has been published in the official gazette.
