NBK Egypt’s net profit jumps by 106.74% during H1-2023, recording EGP 1.565 bn

The latest financial results of National Bank of Kuwait Egypt, ending on June 30, 2023, revealed an increase in the bank’s net profit, with a growth rate of 106.74%, to record EGP 1.565 bn during the first half of 2023, compared to EGP 757 mn during the same period of 2022.

The bank's customer deposits witnessed a growth rate of 6.46%, during the first half of the current year, reaching EGP 89.92 bn by the end of June 2023, compared to EGP 84.46 bn by the end of December 2022.

 In addition, net loans and facilities to customers increased by a growth rate of 23.84% during the first half of 2023, to record EGP 67.26 bn at the end of June 2023, compared to EGP 54.31 bn at the end of December 2022.
