NBE, in its Responsible Banking Principles report, disclosed its partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to enhance the availability of digital guidance services for the local business community.

This partnership aims to provide small businesses, especially young entrepreneurs and women, with the necessary resources to expand their businesses and make a significant contribution to the economy, recognizing the value of guidance and support alongside financial access.

The report explains that the funding for this initiative is provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in collaboration with Micro Mentor and the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth, with the goal of increasing access to guidance services throughout the Middle East and North Africa region.

It's worth mentioning that the Responsible Banking report is the first comprehensive and integrated report issued by the bank, highlighting the progress and achievements it has made in the field of responsible banking practices, emphasizing the bank's adoption of responsible banking practices, policies, and procedures, and more.

The report provides a comprehensive assessment of the bank's portfolio's impact, aiming to evaluate the impact of our banking lending activities on a range of economic, environmental, and social impact areas.
