NBE has announced a new service that allows you to receive foreign transfers instantly 24/7 via the Al Ahli Phone Cash wallet.
Al Ahli Phone Cash offers various banking services that make it easy for customers to complete their daily financial transactions.
Here are some features of the Al Ahli Phone Cash wallet from the Egyptian Al Ahli Bank:
- Pay bills, both landline and mobile, and access instant services like mobile top-ups, donations, flight ticket bookings, club memberships, and more.
- Deposit or withdraw cash through over 20,000 instant outlets, in addition to all branches and ATMs.
- Transfer money between mobile phone accounts in the local currency.
Here are the steps to subscribe to Al Ahli Phone Cash service, available to NBE customers with Mastercard, Visa, and credit/debit cards:
1. Enter your national ID number and the mobile phone number registered with the bank for a successful request.
2. The system will verify the data and send a verification code to your mobile phone. Enter the verification code, and the system will confirm its accuracy.
3. Enter the mobile phone number you wish to register, which must be under your name with the telecommunications company, and ensure there are no electronic wallets registered under the same mobile phone number to proceed with your request.
4. Your request will be recorded in the system, and a download link for the application will be sent as soon as it's executed.
Please note that the daily and monthly limits for the wallet are EGP30,000 and EGP100,000, respectively, with the wallet balance increased to EGP 50,000 following the Egyptian Central Bank's instructions.
You can top up the wallet directly through Al Ahli Mobile application by linking cards issued by NBE to your mobile phone wallet or by visiting the nearest branch of the Egyptian the bank or through any instant sales outlet.
