HDB Credit Card Holders: New International Transaction Guidelines!

If you are a client of HDBank, hold credit cards and wish to use them for international transactions, First Bank website explains the methods and steps you need to follow:
In case the customer wants to reactivate the previously applied limits for travel purposes abroad:
1. The customer should visit the nearest branch and bring the following original documents:
• Valid passport.
• Round-trip flight ticket.
• Valid travel visa for countries that require one.
Please note that:
• The usage limits for international transactions on credit cards have been adjusted to a maximum of $250 monthly.
• Markup fees for currency management on withdrawals and purchases outside Egypt have been adjusted to 10%.
• In case the card is misused abroad, the bank reserves the right to suspend it.
