Afreximbank aims to facilitate deals worth $45 bn at IATF – Intra-African Trade Fair 2023

The third edition of, IATF – Intra-African Trade Fair 2023, which is held from 9 to 15 November 2023, started today. It is organized by African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) in cooperation with the African Union Commission and the Secretariat of the African Free Trade Area Agreement.

Afreximbank revealed its target of facilitating deals for intra-African trade and investment during the fair, worth $45 bn.

Kanayo Awani, Vice President of Afreximbank, said that the Egyptian government welcomed hosting this edition of the fair, which is held at the Manara Conference Center, and praised the extent of the commitment shown by the Egyptian government to do everything in its power to ensure the success of this fair, and its benefit to the Egyptian people.

The fair lasts for 7 days, and includes participants from 57 countries, from various productive and economic sectors that are distinguished by African countries and enjoy competitive advantages and the ability to export and open new markets.

 IATF – Intra-African Trade Fair 2023 aims to be a comprehensive platform for the business, trade and production community at the regional level, allowing for the facilitation of trade deals, increasing intra-investment and joint projects, and stimulating trade and economic integration in the region.
