Egyptian Export Development Bank “EBank” denied, in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange today, the news of obtaining a $25 mn loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
This comes in response to information published on a website claiming, “The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has offered a loan of up to $25 mn to Egyptian Export Development Bank (EBank).”
The statement emphasized that the bank has not signed any agreements in this regard with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, while reaffirming its full commitment to disclosure in the event of any developments in this matter.
