First Bank list revealed the performance of listed bank stocks on the Egyptian Stock Exchange at the close of trading on Thursday, December 7, 2023. The stock of Credit Agricole Egypt led the banking gains on the exchange, rising by 1.17% to close at EGP 20.73, compared to the opening price of EGP20.49.

The list indicated increases in the stocks of 4 banks, Stocks of 5 Bank declined. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank-ADIB secured the second position with a 0.66% increase, closing at EGP38.00, compared to the opening price of EGP 37.75.

Commercial International Bank- CIB saw its stock rise by 0.33%, claiming the third position with a closing price of EGP 76.80, Compared opening price of EGP 76.55

Egyptian Export Development Bank -Ebank

came fourth with a 0.23% increase, closing at EGP17.79, compared to the opening price of EGP 17.75.

Regarding stock declines, QNB Al Ahli’s stock fell by 0.85%, closing at EGP28.06 at the end of the day, compared to the opening price of EGP 28.30.

Suez Canal Bank’s stock fell by 1%, closing at EGP 11.91 at the end of the day, compared to the opening price of EGP 12.03.

alBaraka Bank Egypt Fell by 1.05%, closing at EGP 11.35, Compared opening price of EGP 11.47.

HD Bank Fell by 1.53%, closing at EGP 37.96, Compared opening price of EGP 38.55.

Faisal Islamic Bank’s stock (EGP) Fell by 2.59%, closing at EGP31.60, compared the opening price of EGP 32.44.

In the realm of dollar-denominated banks, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt (in dollars) rose by 0.10%, closing at $0.990, compared the opening price of $0.989.
