First Bank list revealed the performance of listed bank stocks on the Egyptian Stock Exchange at the close of trading on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The stock of alBaraka Bank Egypt led the bank gains on the exchange, rising by 1.74% to close at EGP 11.70, compared to the opening price of EGP 11.50.
The list indicated increases in the stocks of 5 banks, and declines stocks of 4 other banks.
QNB AL Ahli’s stock secured the second position with a 1.71% increase, closing at EGP 27.97, up from the opening price of EGP 27.50.
Credit Agricole Bank’s stock rose by 1.04%, claiming the third position, closing at EGP 20.31, compared to the opening price of EGP 20.10.
Faisal Islamic Bank’s stock come in fourth place by 0.80% increase, closing at EGP 31.45, while the opening price was EGP 31.20, at the end of today's trading.
Egyptian Export Development Bank “EBank” stock come in Fifth place by 0.58% increase, closing at EGP 19.13, while the opening price was EGP 19.02, at the end of today's trading.
In terms of declines, Suez Canal Bank’s stock fell by 0.34%, closing at EGP 11.63, down from the opening price of EGP 11.67.
Housing and Development Bank’s stock decreased by 0.80%, closing at EGP 37.00, down from the opening price of EGP 37.30.
Commercial International Bank’s stock dropped by 1.34%, closing at EGP 75.86, compared to the opening price of EGP 76.89.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank’s stock declined by 2.82%, closing at EGP 35.90, compared to the opening price of EGP 36.94.
Regarding banks traded in dollars, the stock of Faisal Bank settled to closing at $0.990, While EGBank’s stock Fell By 1.59% closing at $0.310 compared to the opening price of $0.315.
