The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Monday 25 December 2023, The index reached 53.264 points, compared to 53.274 points At yesterday's trading.
The Egyptian pound index declined against 2 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.
It Fell against the Euro, Japanese Yen, and settled against, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, US dollar.
The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 34.07 to EGP 34.08 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.95 to EGP 33.96.
The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt settled at EGP 39.29 while the average buying rose from EGP 39.04 to EGP 39.16 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 21.72 to EGP 21.73 while the average buying rose from EGP 21.65 to EGP 21.66.
The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.33 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.32 at the end of today's trading.
The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.
