EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 53.398 points on Tuesday

The Egyptian pound index Increased against the major currencies during Tuesday 2 January 2024, The index reached 53.398 points, compared to 52.108 points At last Sunday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 5 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against the pound sterling, Saudi riyal, Euro, Chinese Yuan, Japanese Yen, and settled against, UAE dirham, US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.15 to EGP 33.91 while the average buying Fell from EGP 34.03 to EGP 33.80 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 39.39 to EGP 39.15 while the average buying declined from EGP 39.25 to EGP 39.02 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 21.93 to EGP 21.77 while the average buying Fell from EGP 21.86 to EGP 21.70.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 4.35 to EGP 4.33 while the average buying Fell from EGP 4.34 to EGP 4.31 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt declined from EGP 8.25 to EGP 8.24   while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying Fell from EGP 30.84 to EGP 30.83.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
