EGP index declined against a basket of major currencies to 54.051 points on Wednesday

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during Wednesday 7 February 2024, The index reached 54.054 points, compared to 54.175 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index Fell against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It Fell against the Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, it rose against Saudi riyal, and settled against UAE dirham, Chinese Yuan, US dollar.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt increased from EGP 33.20 to EGP 33.32 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.10 to EGP 33.21 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 38.83 to EGP 39.07 while the average buying rose from EGP 38.70 to EGP 38.94 at the end of today's trading

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 20.81 to EGP 20.88 while the average buying increased from EGP 20.74 to EGP 20.81.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 4.30 while the average buying settled at EGP 4.28.at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in decreased from EGP 8.25 to EGP 8.24 while the average buying settled at EGP 8.22.at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt settled at EGP 30.93 while the average buying settled at EGP 30.84.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt settled at EGP 8.42 and EGP 8.39 for buying at the end of today's trading.
