Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Thursday's trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an decrease at the beginning of Thursday 28 March 2024 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 47.2091 for buying and EGP 47.3483 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in IDB at EGP 47.73.

The lowest rate for selling was Mid Bank, at EGP 47.30.

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 51.1322 for buying and EGP 51.3019 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in HSBC at EGP 51.78.

The lowest rate for selling was in IDB, EGP 51.24.

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 59.6251 for buying and EGP 59.8198 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in HSBC at EGP 60.31.

While the lowest rate for selling in in IDB at EGP 59.77.

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.5861 for buying and EGP 12.6252 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in ABK-Egypt at EGP12.73.

The lowest rate for selling was in IDB Bank at EGP 12.61.

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 153.4608 for buying and EGP 153.9631 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in Banque Misr at EGP 154.86.
