Foreign exchange rates at the beginning of Wednesday's trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an decrease at the beginning of Wednesday 15 May 2024 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 46.7980 for buying and EGP 47.9288 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in Banque Misr at EGP 46.94.

The lowest rate for selling was EBank, QNB AL ALAHLI, MID Bank, alBaraka at EGP 46.78.

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 50.5184 for buying and EGP 50.6784 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in Banque Misr at EGP 50.76.

The lowest rate for selling was in EBank, NBK Egypt, United Bank at EGP 50.62.

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 58.7455 for buying and EGP 58.9332 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in ADIB Egypt at EGP59.07.

While the lowest rate for selling in Mid Bank, credit Agricole, NBK Egypt at EGP 58.92.

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.4778 for buying and EGP 12.5133 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB Egypt at EGP12.52.

The lowest rate for selling was in EBank, alBaraka, QNB at EGP 12.50.

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 152.1589 for buying and EGP 152.6337 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in saib at EGP 154.59.
