World changes its view of supply chain after coronavirus; CBE Acting Governor

Acting Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Hassan Abdullah said that the world has changed its view of supply chain after coronavirus pandemic and the latest developments.

During his participation in the session titled “Roadmap for the Development of the Industrial Sector: Challenges and Mechanisms to Stimulate the Sector” within the third day of the.

The aim of the presidential initiative titled “Begin” is to consolidate industry and replace imports and increase employment rates in the country.

He also praised the role of the state and the private sector in promoting the industrial sector in Egypt. He added that more effort is needed to develop the industrial sector in the country.

Egyptian Economic Conference 2022 included three tracks discussed over two days; macroeconomic policies, widening the scope of private sector contribution to the national economy and drawing up a roadmap for the Egyptian economic priorities in the coming stage.
