Egyptian workers' remittances rose for the third consecutive month, jumping by 73.8% on an annual basis, to $2.7 bn in May 2024, compared to $1.6 bn in May 2023.
It also increased by 26.6% on a monthly basis, compared to April 2024, during which it recorded about $2.2 bn, following the economic reform on March 6, 2024.
