EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 40.122 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during July 8 2024, the index reached 40.122 points, compared to 40.096 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 4 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It rose against Euro, Japanese Yen, US dollar, UAE dirham, it fell against pound sterling and settled against Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.00 to EGP 47.98 while the average buying decreased from EGP 47.90 to EGP 47.88 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 52.03 to EGP 51.96 while the average buying decreased from EGP51.91to EGP 51.85 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 29.86 to EGP 29.81 while the average buying fell from EGP 29.80 to EGP 29.75 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.07 to EGP 13.06 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.04 to EGP 13.03 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP 6.60 while the average buying fell from EGP 6.59 to EGP 6.58 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 12.79 while the average buying rose from EGP 12.77 to EGP 12.76 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt rose from EGP61.50 to EGP 61.54 while the average buying rose from EGP 61.35 to EGP 61.39 at the end of today's trading.
