CIB Signed EGP 4 Bn Financing Agreement with Consolidated Contractors Company 'CCC' and Atrium Quality Contractors
CIB, Egypt’s leading private-sector bank, has signed a financing agreement with Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), a leading international construction company and Atrium Quality Contractors, a full-service General Contractor Company, to finance the final phase and the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) contract package for the Four Seasons -Cairo Capital-Contract Package CP05 located at Madinaty, Egypt. CIB financed the final phase of the hotel, lakes, and swimming pool’s construction.
Commenting on the transaction, Mrs. Soha Abo Zekry, Head of Global Customer Relations at CIB, said, “We are pleased to be partnering with CCC and Atrium Quality Contractors, as this financing underscores CIB’s confidence in our partners and our commitment to fund major hospitality projects that support Egypt’s economy.”
Eng. Mohamed Tarek Kamel, Area Managing Director for Africa at CCC, expressed pride in being part of this significant project, stating, "With over 30 years of experience and a successful track record in the Egyptian market across various sectors, delivering high quality buildings and hospitality projects, CCC is honored to be selected as the main contractor in joint venture with our strategic partners Atrium Quality Contractors.”
The signing ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Hotel Nile Plaza in the presence of Mrs. Soha Abu Zekry, Head of Global Customer Relations at CIB, Mrs. Abir Essam, Head of Corporate Banking Group at CIB, alongside Mr. Ahmed Talaat Hany, CEO at Atrium Quality Contractors, Mr. Tamer Bazina, Atrium Quality Control CFO, Mr. Mohamed Tarek, Area Managing Director (Africa Region) at CCC, and Mr. Dany Chouaib, Regional Finance and Admin Director (Africa Region).
