EGP index Fell 0.646 points over a week, Euro and Japanese Yen most effective

The Egyptian pound index decreased 0.646 points against the major of currencies over the week, it Fell to 38.751 points, compared to 39.397 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index decreased against all major currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It Fell against, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE Dirham Saudi riyal, Euro, Pound Sterling and Chinese yuan.

The average selling rate of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 48.73 to EGP 49.33 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate increased from EGP 48.63 to EGP 49.22.

The average selling rate of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 52.60 to EGP 53.91 over the week's trading, while the average buying rate increased from EGP 52.49 to EGP 53.80.

The average rate of the Pound Sterling in Egypt increased from EGP 62.22 to EGP 62.51 over the week's trading while the average buying price increased from EGP 62.08 to EGP 62.38.

The average rate of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 31.41 to EGP 33.75 while the buying rate rose from EGP31.24 to EGP 33.68.

The average rate of the Chinese Yuan in Egypt increased from EGP 6.72 to EGP 6.88 while the buying rate rose from EGP6.71 to EGP 6.86.

The average selling rate of the Saudi riyal in Egypt rose from EGP 12.98 to EGP 13.14 over the week's trading while the average buying price rose from EGP 12.96 to EGP 13.11.

The average selling rate of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 13.26 to EGP 13.43 while the buying rate rose from EGP13.24 to EGP 13.40.
