HD Bank corporate loans jump by 17.4%, reaching EGP 24.1bn during H1-2024

The financial statements of HD Bank, ending in June 30 2024, revealed that corporate loan portfolio of HDB increased with a growth rate of 17.38%, an increase of EGP 3.58 bn during the first Half of the current year.
The total portfolio of corporate loans in the bank reached approximately EGP 24.14 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 20.57 bn by the end of December 2023.
Direct loan portfolio of the bank increased with a growth rate of 28.50%, reaching EGP 132.5 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 10.15 bn by the end of December 2023, an increase of EGP 2.89 bn.
Additionally, the bank's Syndicated loans surged by 24.83% to record EGP 4.10bn by the end of June 2024 compared to EGP 3.28bn by the end of December 2023, with an increase of EGP 815mn.
Debit current accounts portfolio in the bank reaching a value of EGP 6.79bn during the first Half of this year.
Total loans and facilities for customers increased by 11.60%, reaching EGP 50.76 bn by the end of June 2024, compared to EGP 45.49 bn by the end of December 2023, an increase of EGP 5.28bn.
