Top 10 Banks contribution to Mortgage Finance Initiative worth EGP66.7 bn by September 2024-End

May Abdel Hamid, Chairperson of the Mortgage Finance Fund, revealed that Mortgage finance provided by the top 10 Banks rose to around EGP 66.749 bn by the end of September 2024.
Total mortgage finance provided through 22 banks operating in the Egyptian banking sector rose to EGP 73.110 bn by the end of September 2024.
She added that the number of Banks’ customers benefiting from total mortgage finance was about 574,588 customers, accounting for about 96.7% of total customers benefiting from mortgage finance during the past month.
