EGX ends Sunday’s session with an increase in bench mark index by 3.22%

Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) has ended trading on Sunday December 4 with market capitalization of EGP 913.959 billion.

The bench mark EGX30 closed with a slight increase of 3.22%, or 14.078 points. The EGX50 EWI also gained 3.40% to settle at 2,408.73 points.

Moreover, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI as well as EGX100 EWI increased by 1.78% to 2,668.98 points and by 2.39% to 3,900.89 points, respectively.

Investors traded on 200 shares, 116shares rose, 35 shares fell, and 49 shares remained stable.

However, the turnover reached 825.256 million securities dealt in cash executed on 85.639 transactions, bringing the total trading volume to EGP 2.378
