EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.588 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 26 January 2025, the index reached 38.588 points, compared to 38.709 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 50.33 to EGP 50.30 while the average buying fell from  EGP 50.23 to EGP 50.20 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt increased  from EGP 52.35 to EGP 52.79 while the average buying rose from EGP 52.24 to EGP 52.68 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt rose from EGP 61.95 to EGP 62.80 while the average increased from EGP 61.81 to EGP 62.65 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 32.17 to EGP 32.25 while the average buying rose from EGP 32.10 to EGP 32.17 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt increased from EGP 6.90 to EGP 6.94 while the average buying  rose from  EGP 6.89 to EGP 6.92 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt setteled at  EGP 13.41 while the average buying fell from  EGP 13.39 to EGP 13.38 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham decreased from EGP 13.70 to EGP 13.69 while the average buying fell from  EGP 13.67 to EGP 13.66 at the end of today's trading.
