EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.707 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 3 February 2025, the index reached 38.707 points, compared to 38.723 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt increased  from EGP 50.27 to EGP 50.39 while the average buying rose from EGP 50.17 to EGP 50.29 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 52.11 to EGP 51.75 while the average buying fell from EGP 52.99 to EGP 51.63 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt decreased from EGP 62.32 to EGP 62.20 while the average fell from EGP 62.17 to EGP 62.06 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 32.40 to EGP 32.63 while the average buying increased  from EGP 32.32 to EGP 32.56 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt increased  from EGP 6.93 to EGP 6.95 while the average buying  rose from  EGP 6.91 to EGP 6.93 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increased  from EGP 13.40 to EGP 13.43 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.37 to EGP 13.40 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham increased  from EGP 13.68 to EGP 13.72 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.66 to EGP 13.69 at the end of today's trading.
