Foreign exchange rate at the beginning of Monday’s trading
The Foreign exchange rate witnessed a divergence in the beginning of Monday’s trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP24.7018 for buying and EGP24.850 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in ADIB at EGP 24.74.
The lowest rate for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at the level of EGP 24.71/
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 26.2728 for buying and EGP 26.3 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in ADIB Egypt at EGP26.44. The lowest rate for selling was in CIB at EGP 26.42.
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 29.7 pounds for buying and EGP 29.81 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying in the ADIB Egypt at EGP29.85
While the lowest rate for selling was in National Bank of Egypt at EGP 29.89
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP6.567 for buying and EGP6.5970 pounds for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB Egypt was at EGP6.57
The lowest rate for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr at EGP 6.53
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 80.616 or buying, and EGP80.91 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in SAIB was at EGP80.65. The lowest price for selling was in the National Bank of Egypt came at EGP80.78
