EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 38.260 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during , 17 February 2025, the index reached 38.260 points, compared to 38.244 points at last Monday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against US dollar, Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal and fell against Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 50.67 to EGP 50.66 while the average buying fell from EGP 50.57 to EGP 50.56 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 53.18 to EGP 53.08 while the average buying fell from EGP 53.06 to EGP 52.96 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP 63.79 to EGP 63.84 while the average buying rose from EGP 63.65 to EGP 63.68 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 33.26 to EGP 33.45 while the average buying increased from EGP 33.19 to EGP 33.38 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt setteled at EGP 13.79 while the average buying setteled at EGP 13.76 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from EGP 13.51 to EGP 13.50 while the average buying setteled at EGP 13.48 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 6.98 to EGP 6.97 while the average buying price fell from EGP 6.97 to EGP 6.96 at the end of today's trading.
