EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 38.831 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during December, the index reached 38.831 points, compared to 38.818 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, and fell against US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 52.41 to EGP 52.34 while the average buying fell from EGP 52.29 to EGP 52.23 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 63.25 to EGP62.99 while the average buying fell from EGP 63.10 to EGP 62.86 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt fell from EGP 6.84 to EGP6.83 while the average decreased from EGP 6.82 to EGP 6.81 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 33.14 to EGP33.22 while the average buying increased from EGP 33.07 to EGP 33.15 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 49.76 to EGP 49.78 while the average buying increased from EGP 49.66 to EGP 49.68 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt increased from EGP 13.54 to EGP 13.55 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.51 to EGP 13.52 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal rose from EGP 13.24 to EGP 13.25 while the average buying increased from EGP13.21 to EGP 13.22 at the end of today's trading.
