EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 39.140 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during 8 September 2024, the index reached 39.140 points, compared to 39.104 points at last Thursday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 5 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against US dollar, Euro, pound sterling, Saudi riyal, UAE dirham, and settled against Chinese Yuan, it fell against Japanese Yen.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.48 to EGP 48.44 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.38 to EGP 48.34 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 53.84 to EGP 53.71 while the average buying fell from EGP 53.72 to EGP 53.58 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt fell from EGP 63.85 to EGP 63.60 while the average buying decreased from EGP 63.71 to EGP 63.60 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal fell from EGP 12.91 to EGP 12.90 while the average buying decreased from EGP 12.89 to EGP 12.87 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.20 to EGP 13.19 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.17 to EGP 13.16 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at  EGP 6.83 while the average buying settled at EGP 6.81 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increased from EGP 33.81 to EGP 34.05 while the average buying rose from EGP 33.73 to EGP 33.97 at the end of today's trading.
