EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 40.058 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during July 2 2024, the index reached 40.058 points, compared to 39.937 points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against all currencies that measures the performance of the pound, It rose against Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt fell from EGP 48.32 to EGP 48.22 while the average buying decreased from EGP 48.22 to EGP 48.12 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt fell from EGP 51.95 to EGP 51.69 while the average buying decreased from EGP 51.83 to EGP 51.58 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 61.26 to EGP 60.99 while the average buying fell from EGP 61.09 to EGP 60.85 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt fell from EGP 29.99 to EGP 29.83 while the average buying declined from EGP 29.92 to EGP 29.77 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from EGP 6.64 to EGP 6.63 while the average buying fell from EGP 6.63 to EGP 6.61 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal declined from EGP 12.87 to EGP 12.85 while the average buying fell from EGP 12.85 to EGP 12.82 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from EGP 13.15 to EGP 13.12 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.12 to EGP 13.10 at the end of today's trading.
