EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 40.344 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during April 8 2024, the index reached 40.344 points, compared to 40.339 points at yesturday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 3 Currencies among a basket of seven currencies that measures the performance of the pound.

It rose against Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, It fell against US dollar, Saudi riyal, and settled against Chinese Yuan, UAE dirham.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 51.61 to EGP 51.58 while the average buying Fell from EGP 51.49 to EGP 51.46 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 60.19 to EGP 60.16 while the average buying fell from EGP 60.04to EGP 60.00 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 31.41 to EGP 31.36 while the average buying fell from EGP 31.34 to EGP 31.29 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the US dollar in Egypt rose from EGP 47.62 to EGP 47.63 while the average buying increased from EGP 47.52 to EGP 47.53 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt rose from EGP 12.96 to EGP 12.97 while the average buying increased from EGP12.93 EGP 12.94 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt settled at EGP6.58 at the end of today's trading. while the average buying rose from EGP 6.56 to EGP 6.57.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal settled at EGP 12.69while the average buying rose from EGP 12.66 to EGP 12.67 at the end of today's trading.
