EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 37.433 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during 6 April 2025, the index reached 37.433 points, compared to 37.663  points at yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Chinese Yuan, US dollar, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal.

The average selling price of the US Dollar in Egypt increases from EGP 50.64 to EGP  51.17 while the average buying rose from EGP 50.54 to EGP 51.07 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling rate of Euro in Egypt decrease from EGP 56.17 to EGP 56.07 while the average buying fell from  EGP 56.05 to EGP 55.95 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the pound sterling in Egypt decrease from EGP 66.67 to EGP 65.97 while the average fell from EGP 66.51 to EGP 65.83 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt increases from EGP 34.68 to EGP 34.83 while the average buying rose from EGP 34.61 to EGP 34.75 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of Chinese yuan in Egypt increases from EGP 6.94 to  EGP 7.02 while the average buying  rose from  EGP 6.92 to EGP 7.01  at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal in Egypt increases from EGP 13.78 to EGP 13.64 while the average buying rose from EGP 13.47 to EGP 13.61 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham increases from EGP 13.78 while the average buying rose from  EGP 13.93 to EGP 13.76 to EGP 13.90 at the end of today's trading.
