EGP index increased against a basket of major currencies to 37.525 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index increased against the major currencies during , 17 June 2025, the index reached 37.525 points, compared to 37.419 points at last Tuesday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index rose against 7 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it rose against US dollar, Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal and fell against Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 50.31 to EGP 50.19 while the average buying fell from EGP 50.23 to EGP 50.09 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt decreased from EGP 58.22 to EGP 58.05 while the average buying fell from EGP 58.11 to EGP 57.93 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt decreased from EGP 68.32 to EGP 68.08 while the average buying fell from EGP 68.20 to EGP 67.92 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt decreased from EGP 34.91 to EGP 34.72 while the average buying fell from EGP 34.84 to EGP 34.65 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the UAE dirham in Egypt decreased from  EGP 13.70 to EGP 13.66 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.67 to EGP 13.63 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Saudi riyal decreased from  EGP 13.40 to EGP 13.37 while the average buying fell from EGP 13.38 to EGP 13.35 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Chinese yuan in Egypt decreased from  EGP 7.00 to EGP 6.98 while the average buying price fell from EGP 6.99 to EGP 6.97 at the end.
