Bank ABC, Bank NXT, and ABK-Egypt top fastest growing private sector banks in net fees and commissions income in last 3 years

First Bank’s list of the fastest growing private sector banks in net income, fees and commissions in the last 3 years, revealed that the Arab Banking Corporation Bank topped – Egypt«ABC», with an average growth of 180%, as its net income from fees and commissions amounted to 535.45 million pounds during 2024, compared to 412.70 million pounds during 2023, and 83.56 million pounds during 2022.
The «First Bank» list monitored the net income from fees and commissions of 20 private banks operating in the Egyptian banking system for which financial data were available for the last 3 years, specifically for the years 2024, 2023 and 2022, and showed that they all achieved positive growth rates.It is worth noting that the banks «ABC» and «FABMISR» They completed acquisitions during this period, which affected the average growth rates of the two banks.
Returning to the list, BANK NXT«seized second place with an average growth of 108.2% over the last 3 years, thanks to achieving net income from fees and commissions amounting to 681.22 million pounds in 2024, compared to 907.62 million pounds in 2023, and 316.05 million pounds in 2022.
Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt«ABK – Egypt» ranked third with an average growth of 88.2% over the last 3 years, as its net income from fees and commissions rose to 1.51 billion pounds during 2024, compared to 1.22 billion pounds during 2023 and 402.53 million pounds during 2022.
Fourth came the Egyptian Gulf Bank «EGBANK», with an average growth of 80.7% over the last 3 years, after its net income from fees and commissions rose to 1.16 billion pounds during 2024, compared to 662.21 million pounds during 2023, and 285.14 million pounds during 2022.
Suez Canal Bank dominated fifth place, after the average growth of net income from fees and commissions reached 76.1% during the last three years, rising to 979.91 million pounds in 2024, compared to 660.68 million pounds in 2023, and 296.25 million pounds in 2022.
First Abu Dhabi Bank – Egypt «FABMISR» came in sixth place, with an average growth of 71.6% in the last 3 years, after its net income from fees and commissions rose to 2.49 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 1.96 billion pounds in 2023, and 1.05 billion pounds in 2022.
National Bank of Kuwait-Egypt «NBK – Egypt» ranked seventh, with an average growth of 58.8% in the last 3 years, as its net income from fees and commissions jumped to 1.58 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 1.36 billion pounds in 2023, and 658.53 million pounds in 2022.
The Arab African International Bank took eighth place, with an average growth of 58.6% over the last 3 years, thanks to the increase in its net income from fees and commissions to 3.88 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 2.84 billion pounds in 2023, and 1.62 billion pounds in 2022.
Arab International Banking Company «saib» Bank came ninth, after the average growth of its net income from fees and commissions reached 58% during the last three years, rising to 1.06 billion pounds in 2024, compared to 551 million pounds in 2023, and 545 million pounds in 2022.
As for tenth place, it went to Attijariwafa Bank Egypt with an average growth of 54.8% over the last 3 years, thanks to the increase in its net income from fees and commissions to 1.29 billion pounds during 2024, compared to 830.94 million pounds during 2023, and 491.65 million pounds during 2022.
It is worth noting that all values and growth rates mentioned in the above analysis are in accordance with the independent financial statements announced for each bank.
