Egypt’s banking sector performance on EGX at Monday's closing session

The banking sector ends EGX trading session on Monday, 14 July  2025 with an increase in the market cap by 2.54% to record EGP 506.265 bn compared to EGP  493.723 bn at yesterday's session.

The market cap of the banking sector reached 22.05% of the total EGX market cap, which is considered the highest percentage among the sectors listed on the Egyptian Stock Exchange.

The turnover on banking sector shares amounted to 467.72 mn which represents  10.18% of the total trading volume today after 8.41 million shares were exchanged capturing  0.59% of the total trading volume.

The indexes of the Egyptian Exchange ended Today’s trading session with increase and turnover amounted EGP  258.8 mn on shares.

The main index of the Egyptian Stock Exchange “EGX30” increase by 2.04% to reach 33.727 points EGX70 increase by 0.89% to record 10.227 points, and the broader index “EGX100” rose by   0.98% to record  13.814 points.
