Foreign exchange rates at the End of Sunday’s trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed a deacrease at the End of Sunday 1 August 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.
First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:
U.S. dollar
The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.5757 for buying and EGP 48.7067 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest dollar rate for buying was in «IDB» at EGP 48.70.
The lowest rate for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 48.65.
Euro
The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.2701 for buying and EGP 56.4365 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.
The highest Euro rate for buying was in «IDB» at EGP 56.48.
The lowest rate for selling was in HSBC at EGP 55.81 .
Pound Sterling
The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 64.4988 for buying and EGP 64.6874 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in «IDB» at EGP 64.82.
While the lowest rate for selling in HSBC at EGP 64.68.
Saudi Riyals
The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9487 for buying and EGP 12.9843 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying today was in «IDB» at EGP 13.06.
The lowest rate for selling was in Faisal Bnak at EGP 12.97.
Kuwaiti Dinar
Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP 158.9259 for buying and EGP 159.4067 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in saib at EGP 159.05.
The lowest price for selling was in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 159.15.
Emirati Dirham
The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.2247 for buying and EGP 13.2611 for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.
The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in «IDB» at EGP 13.29.
The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was recorded in Credit Agricole-Egypt at EGP 13.24.
