Foreign exchange rates at the end of Thursday’s trading

The foreign exchange rate witnessed an increase at the end of Thursday 7 August 2025 trading at Egypt's major banks.

First Bank monitors foreign currency rates in major banks in Egypt:

U.S. dollar

The US dollar rate against EGP recorded EGP 48.4886  for buying and EGP 48.6266  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest dollar rate for buying was in ADIB-Egypt at EGP 48.52 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 48.47 .

Euro

The Euro rate against EGP recorded EGP 56.5765  for buying and EGP 56.7423  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank’s website.

The highest Euro rate for buying was in HD-Bank at EGP 56.53 .

The lowest rate for selling was in Banque de Caire at EGP 55.19 .

Pound Sterling

The pound sterling rate against EGP stands at EGP 65.0571  for buying and EGP 65.2714  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest pound sterling rate for buying was in MID Bank at EGP 64.95 .

While the lowest rate for selling in Banque de Caire at EGP 64.50 .

Saudi Riyals

The Saudi riyal rate against EGP today in Egypt recorded EGP 12.9210  for buying and EGP 12.9591  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying today was in ADIB-Egypt at EGP 12.93 .

The lowest rate for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 12.92 .

Kuwaiti Dinar

Kuwaiti dinar rate today in Egypt reached EGP  158.7083  for buying and EGP 159.2121  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Kuwaiti dinar was in KFH-Egypt at EGP 158.81 .

The lowest price for selling was in «EBank» at EGP 158.59 .

Emirati Dirham

The rate of Emirati dirham today in Egypt recorded EGP 13.2006  for buying and EGP 13.2396  for selling, according to the latest data issued on the Central Bank of Egypt website.

The highest rate for buying the Emirati dirham today was in ADIB-Egypt at EGP 13.21 .

The lowest price for selling the Emirati dirham today was recorded in «EBank» at EGP 13.20.
