EGP index decreased against a basket of major currencies to 38.870 points at today's trading

The Egyptian pound index decreased against the major currencies during, Wednesday 13 August 2025, the index reached 38.870 points, compared to 38.905 points at Yesterday's trading.

The Egyptian pound index fell against 3 currencies that measures the performance of the pound, it fell against Euro, pound sterling, Japanese Yen, but it rose against US dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, and remained stable against Chinese Yuan.

The average selling price of the Euro in Egypt rose from EGP 56.27 to EGP 56.67 while the average buying rose from EGP 56.15 to EGP 56.54 at the end of today's trading.

The average pound sterling selling rate in Egypt increased from EGP  65.22  to EGP 65.67 while the average buying rose from EGP 65.07 to EGP 65.51 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of the Japanese yen in Egypt rose from EGP 32.65 to EGP 32.80 while the average buying rose from EGP 32.58 to EGP 32.72 at the end of today's trading.

The average selling price of US dollar in Egypt decreased from EGP 48.48to EGP 48.37 while the average buying fell from EGP 48.38to EGP 48.27 at the end of today's trading.
